Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

Our commitment to “place” and the strong sense of community starts with our teams. We are committed to recruiting and promoting a diverse workforce that includes a wide range of experiences, backgrounds, perspectives and characteristics. While embracing this diversity in the workplace, we empower our teams with our number one priority being a culture where people are always respected and appreciated.

Our organization supports social changes. We have zero tolerance for racism of any kind including built-in structural racism, inequitable treatment of any individuals, and exclusion of any type. Instead, we will support diversity, equity, and inclusion in our organization, community, and nation.

Our DEI Purpose

Our purpose as an organization is “Turning Spaces into Places.” To achieve this, we strive to develop, promote and advance strategies and best practices within the realms of racial, social, sexual and gender diversity and ensure that within the places we create, they are always free from bias and welcoming to all. Places where across races, genders, nationalities and boundaries that social justice is normal. Places where the sense of what is right in our community shines through. Places where instead of hate there is love. Places where community thrives.

Our Organization's
DEI Goals

Our organization has established and communicated specific, measurable and time-bound goals related to our diversity, equity & inclusion (DEI) efforts, including creating a “DEI" Committee that has begun to spearhead change regarding Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in our organization. We have also enlisted the International Living Institute’s JUST platform to help optimize policies that improve social equity and enhance employee engagement across our organization.

Current DEI Goals for our Organization:

  • Formed a DEI Committee to steward meaningful and measurable discussions for moving ahead.
  • Audit our organization’s current environment to further our commitment to a DEI “place” while measure our progress moving forward related to diversity in our workplace and our culture.

  • Provide industry leading training for all team members on diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Engage with the International Futures Living Institute (IFLI)’s JUST program.
  • Update our Human Resources policies to enhance diversity in our hiring practices.
